i love shoes- a new print!

just droppin in to share a new print I've been working on. Its titled, "I love shoes"... and boy do I! Although after becoming pregnant with my first daughter finding shoes that fit is NOT fun. I think my feet flattened or something? Anyone else have that problem? I still like shoes, I just wish I could find more that actually fit. Anyhow, I listed it here.

I have at least 5 new prints to be released into the shop! Soon soon I promise!! I even finished up another happy robot couple. It was originally a commissioned piece I created for a couple, and they were alright with me sharing it with you... so that will be coming to the shop as well.

Camping was fun! Weather was absolutely perfect!

Still working on the last touches before the big "SALE" goes live! I have gotten soo much support through the loss of my camera, and I really appreciate it!

WEll I am off to bed, just had a long day picking out tile for the kitchen, then we took the kids to the park and had a picnic lunch it was fun, but WORE me out. I have a comfy bed calling my name. ;)

camping without my camera...

Yep! We are loading up the avalanche and leaving early tomorrow morning. A bunch of our family/friends are getting together and camping near Tonasket WA. Sadly enough, I will not be taking my camera... Partly because I lost it in Oregon last weekend. :( I "think" it fell right off the tailgate of our pickup while in Creswell. It shouldnt have been on the tailgate in the first place, and the tailgate should have also been UP, not down. But such is life. I suppose it could have been much worse. I didnt realize it was missing until that next day right before heading home. We retraced our drive and hoped to have found it along the side of the road. I really didnt expect to find it useable shape, but I figured I would have at least been able to save my memory card and precious pictures. :(

I was sick feeling most of the way home, my brother was kind enough to post a listing on craigslist under the lost and found section but still haven't received any calls. I know I shouldnt let it bother me so much, but it really is weird how displaced I feel without my camera!! HOWEVER, I am putting money aside and looking online for a replacement. I dont imagine it is EVER a good time to replace a 600.00 purchase, but being in the midst of a remodel and preparing our house to sell has really made now a BAD time. Which reminds me!

I DID want to let you all know that if you've been planning to purchase a print from the shop... wait until next week, because I am brainstorming a "replace my camera" sale or promo offer of sorts. :)

Until then I'll be using my olympus camedia 3.2 megapixel "suuuper slow blur all my pictures camera." :) Because I am still thankful I do have "A" camera I can use. :D

summer lovin'

Here is my little Journey, enjoying summer. She absolutely loved this swing. Practically fell asleep sitting in it. :) Here is a few from Trin's recent photoshoot. I still have sooo many good ones left to edit. Need to make the time though! :)

Well we are headed to Creswell, OR today to visit my brother and some friends for the weekend. My brother and sis-in law purchased a fixer upper in Creswell and are COMPLTELY redoing it. Jaydon (hubby) and dad are planning to help them put in they're kitchen cabinets saturday. They bought a cute little house and they got a really good deal. I cannot believe how expensive property is there! You can pick up 3 flat acres around here (Prosser Washington) for around 45-60,000.

Anyhow I have some more packing to do... but wanted to let everyone know I will not be responding to e-mails or etsy convos until monday evening, possibly tuesday morning. :)

Its been awhile since I mentioned it, but I am still designing stamps. In fact Stamping Bella just released a few new stamps for a total of 30 vol.25 stamps, with more to come. :)

I havent been stamping or scrapbooking as much as I would like to, but I recently had the bright idea of using this block to stamp the from section of my larger padded envelopes.

Its finished! Thanks so much for your help and opinions. Your ideas were brilliant and I had a hard time deciding between a few of them. I ended up using "i heart typewriters" thanks jen!! It totally made sense to me, I loved how "i heart books" turned out... so why not use a similar theme? :)

On the second little guy, the more retro of the two I used the Ralph Emerson quote suggested by Kristy. Thanks! :) I couldnt be more thrilled with the both of them. I also compiled them into a print set you can see here. If you can't decide between the two you can snag them both and save 5.00 in the process.
