I am actually kind of surprised that I am liking this photograph as much as I do. Its not generally a style I gravitate towards... but it seems to really evoke a mood. I would hope that the shelves above our anchored into studs, because I'd hate to have that tumbling on my head in the night! :)
Hope your enjoying your saturday. If everything goes according to plan, we'll be going for a drive today in search of some old buildings. I think I know just the spot!

I totally get what you mean about this photo evoking a mood. It just seems like a cozy little nook perfect for some good reading.

I love this room. It looks so wrm and inviting. I can see me with my journal (or in my teen days a school book) doodling away or writing down thoughts that become poetry.
