Today I am suuuper excited to debut the makeover I gave my "etsy must haves" category. :) This is something that I really want to keep going here on the blog... and to do that I made a template that I can easily update in photoshop. I'm keeping each feature super sweet, short and simple... and I am super happy to finally share some of my etsy favorites with you. :)

I have never been one to get excited about the rain. But I do really like the smell of it. The other day I was wondering if the rain smells different depending on where you live. :) Here in my part of WA we have mostly desert... so when it rains it smells like wet dirt and sagebrush... which I LOVE. But, I would imagine that our neighboring state Oregon probably smells more like pine trees when it rains? I guess I have been to Oregon my fair share of times when it is pouring... but never really though much about the difference.
So, what about you? What does the rain smell like in your neck of the woods? :)

I bought some glasses from my thrift store in varying sizes to recover them... and help add a little more yellow to a corner in our living room. The owl on the top shelf and the bird in the bottom right corner were both purchased that same thrifting trip. :) .50 cents a piece! I did respray the owl. He originally looked like this.
still super cute, but a little dark for my shelf. :) By the looks of him, I imagine he was probably excited for a makeover. :)
I have some really exciting news to post about this week... and if you are one of the people who wanted your name' added to the waiting list for the larger canvas paper... you will be excited to hear that a huge shipment should be arriving on my doorstep in the next couple of days! :) I'm LOWERING the price from 35.00 to 30.00 a print. Buying from the manufacturer was a HUGE initial expense but allows me to sell the paper cheaper in the end. :) You can bet I will keep you updated the moment it arrives!

Hi!!! :) So this past week I have been a little mia.... and I do apologize for that! I have working like a little machine printing and packaging orders. I expected a little extra traffic because of the sale, but really was not expecting the 60 or so orders I received in just a couple day's time. My parents were a big help, watching the girls for me so that I could focus without those little "mommy" interruptions. Jaydon was a big help for me to, stuffing envelopes and packaging orders... They did drag me out of the house saturday morning for a really neat car show, even though it was windy it was nice... and I took lots of pictures that I really want to post in the next couple of days. Ok, well I hope everyone is having a perfectly splendid monday. :) I have some more orders to finish, and then I'm working on a really neat, but super easy diy project for Leigh Ann's blog... freckled nest. I think you'll love it!

So here it is, my shiny new bicycle. :) I really do like it. We hadnt planned to buy me a new bike... but a new seat, and new tube for my tire. By the time we priced out a seat and tube it was going to be 40.00. So Jaydon suggested putting the 40.00 towards a new bike... I couldnt remember when the last time was I actually bought a new bike. I think it might have been my pink and white bike from my 13th birthday.... :) Right after we got married we bought me a bike for 20.00 from a yard sale here in town... it was a really good bike, and will end up being sold at a yard sale again in the near future. :)
Now, I am wanting to buy a bike basket... Maybe this summer we can make saturday trips to the farmers market, it would be a suuuper easy bike ride. I would much rather have a natural looking basket like this one:
But would it look out of place on a newer bike styled like mine? hmmm....decisions, decisions... :) We bought a little bike cart mooonths ago for the girls to ride in. Trin likes to pretend it is her pumpkin carriage, and daddy is her horse. :)
It works out really well, even bought a little cooler to put in the back. Sunday my mom and dad brought they're bikes over and we rode around Prosser. Took the girls to the school to play on the toys.
although there were times when I think daddy had more fun... :)
After playing on the toys we rode down to Burger Ranch to get something cold to drink.
It was a really nice quiet day... and surprisingly enough I only had a soar behind out of the whole ordeal. I must buy me a padded bike seat.... :)

hi everyone!! :) It has been so long since I have added a new freebie to my freebie collection. This picture is proof that a new one is coming your way!! See, I have had this my head for over a year now, and I have started working on the love note project soo many times, but nothing ever fell into place so I would push it aside, and then forget about it... When Jaydon and I first got married and on and off during that first year I would write him simple little love notes. He so sweetly reminded me of this last week, and needless to say that was the push I needed to finally sit down and make time to finish this project. :)
... and of course I wanted to share them with all of you! You know help spread the love? Getting a little personal here, I tend to take mine and Jaydon's relationship for granted.... you know "if it isnt broke don't fix it type of thing?" Well, that phrase does NOT apply to relationships. I need to be reminded that a little water never hurt a blooming flower. In fact, a little water might show you how pretty that flower can really get. :)
Anyhow, I'm planning to have these up on the blog sunday morning, so that you will have enough time to print and cut them out... that way you will be able to start your monday off with a sweet love note for that special someone. :)
I also have plans for another similar idea like this one for your kiddos lunch boxes. :)

not the flower... and not the mirror, but a bunny! I've gone through phases like this before where I really want one and research them out to find the perfect breed for me... and then it just doesnt end up happening for one reason or another. Well this easter post just did me in. I am really really wanting one now.
The bunny in the above photos is a lionhead rabbit. They grow this really cute mane around they're heads. :) Super adorable. I was having a hard time deciding which breed I wanted, but I think I finally decided on the American Fuzzy Lop.
I found the above two images on flickr, arent they just adorable? :) I decided on the fuzzy lop, because I am really partial to those floppy ears and the smaller size. When I was 14 my brother, sister and I all got a rabbit. Me and my brother decided on a holland lop, and my sister picked out a netherland dwarf. My dad built some big wooden hutches for us, and I trained my rabbit to to use a litter box inside the hutch. It really wasnt hard to do at all. She had a corner she preferred to do her business, and I just put a litterbox there. :) She had a litter of bunnies and they were sooo adorable and sweet. I have pictures in a photo album somewhere... I need to find them. Now I just need to find a breeder in washington state. A few google searches haven't turned up much. The closest one I can find is about a 7 hour drive. For now, I'll just keep dreaming. :)
