Aww...isnt that just the cutest thing ever? If you visit skunkboycreatures, these words will greet you. I have had one of these super sweet animal friends from Katie on my wish list for waay too long now. :)  You have NO idea how hard it was to only choose one photo from her shop...which is why you must stop by yourself... I found this adorable giraffe couple while browsing her sold orders... too cute for words. :)

new project on the horizon...

yep!! I am working on something totally new. See I have had this idea for quite some time (way before opening up vol.25) but figured it would be waay too time involving and well there were others things that worried me to tackle "said project." I've since paired it down quite a bit to a more manageable level, I hope. These pictures are just a teaser though! I am hoping to get your opinions on the "scary worrying me part..." before I decide to what extent I'll go with my ideas. Basically though... I am planning to expand on the idea of offering print sets. :) Did I give it all away yet? ;)

Notice the 2 new smaller prints? I finished those up to coordinate with the first 2 in the xoxo and love print set. :) They should be available in a couple days!

Ok, I've gotta run... but I was REALLY excited to share these two spaces with you all! :) I'll be back with more details and questions... soon! :)

I LOVE LOVE that inspiration board above the desk. It would be super fun to make your own by repurpose-ing an old cork board.

 

I love the little kid sized desk next to mommy's... What is so neat is that those ikea desks are adjustable... so it can grow with your child. :)

I think the open airy crisp feeling in this photo really appeals to me. The bookshelf really adds a mild separation of spaces, without giving a closed in feeling. :)

It has been awhile since I have given anyone an update on where we stand as far as selling our house. We originally decided to take it off the market, and stay here for another 6 months to a year. Pay a little more off on the home itself, replace the roof, save up a little more money so that we could really upgrade to a nicer AND bigger house. We decided that given our financial picture now, to sell would mean just buying a bigger house... it wouldnt necessarily be nicer or anymore updated then the one we have now. Waiting would give us much more options later. :)

BUT, after deciding to stay I really felt comfortable with that decision. I love our house, the neighborhood, the location... I just wish it were bigger. Which led us to consider adding onto our house instead of moving. :) We've been tossing the idea around for quite some time now and I personally feel it is the best decision for us. We'll see... the addition would more then likely include a 2 car garage, with bonus room above, a master bedroom, master bath, and a walk in closet. This has led me to daydreaming about my office space. :) *sigh* It is fun to plan it in my head. I think I am driving Jaydon crazy though... which means I might have to make you guys suffer through my crazy ideas a bit... ;)

p.s. I took this photo a few years ago at my aunt's house. It seemed fitting to post it today, because she has always seemed like a second mother to me. She and her husband were not able to have kids of they're own, so my sister, my brother and I would always spent time at they're house (3.5 hour drive away) over the summer. Such good memories. :)

I *LOVE* that my "little" BIG girl Trinity gets super excited when I tell her we are going to take pictures of her. She is constantly coming up with her own poses... and gives any of them on command. :) This is however the first time that she was VERY opinionated on *where* we took pictures. She kept insisting that we take one by a tree....

so on the way back to the car I let her have her moment... doesnt she look really satisfied with herself in this picture? yep, I think I am going to have my hands full in  a few years... :)

I picked up the wood masks at Joann's fabric for 1.00 a couple months back. Journey wanted to look at the face of hers... so I only got shots of the back. :) She did have a cute monkey with a bow on its head. I probably should have taken the barcode sticker and plastic hang tag off huh? ;)

-p.s. I am incredibly envious of you photographer moms who receive super cute clothes in exchange for awesome photographs of your children modeling said clothes... what fun that would be!? :) I'm curious to ask anyone who is lucky enough to be doing this... did you contact the clothing company, or did they contact you? :)

11x14 canvas paper is back in stock!

Hi! So I know you guys have all been SO patient about this. I've had a waiting list since January I believe... waay too long. I finally ended up putting enough money back and ordering in BULK from the manufacturer. This was a pretty big initial expense, but in the end it allows me to sell the paper at a cheaper price then in times past. So, you can now order any UN-customized print in a larger 11x14 size for the cost of 30.00. If you are interested in purchasing a customizeable print... the price is a little higher. Because a customizable print is priced at 30.00 instead of 20.00 the 10.00 upgrade price would bring the total to 40.00. :)

If you have purchased from me in the past, then you know the quality of this paper is AMAZING... because it is the SAME exact paper that I print all my 8x10's on. :)

So, I am SUPER excited to have this back in stock... and checked off my "to do list."

Well, naptime is over and I promised my girls they could play in the sandbox today, and I have some things that need planted... so I'm going to need to make this short! Hope you are having a GREAT one!
