Photographer Alison Waken sent me a link to this adorable layout she created using the free 4x6 sized postcard I send out with all orders. :) Love her creativity, the muted tones and... well everything about this.
I'm actually just about ready to run out of the victorian house image in the postcards. I send the double sided cards as a way of spreading the word about my zazzle shop, but also giving everyone something that they could pop in a frame or hang in they're office cubicle, or work into a scrapbook layout. :) Just yesterday I placed an order for 1,000 more postcards using the storm image this time! :)
I just love the colors, and I think it will blend really well with the new direction my packaging is going. I also re-designed the back of the card with newer zazzle products.
I probably wont be sending these out for a few weeks. They havent even been printed yet. :) I also thought it was time to order some thank you cards. Generally my thank yous look like this:
...and I print them on cardstock and cut all of them out myself individually. However these last few months I've been staying consistently busy filling orders, and I'm looking forward to having one less thing on my to do list. :) I changed the design up:
I'll be writing messages on the "tape", and I think it will be pretty nifty! :) Well, I'm finishing things up with the design team for the overlays, and I also decided to merge the overlays blog with this blog. It is just too much for me to keep up with two blogs, that is why the handy little nav bar up top was added. :) No clutter, but easy navigation amongst the MANY pages of overlay info. :)
Also, I am finalizing the whole design team business! I am SO excited to share them all with you... they are definitely some talented ladies, and I am really looking forward to showing you what they cook up with the overlays. :) I'm taking one last call for submissions: If
you would like to be considered please leave a comment with a link to
your blog/work. If I feel our styles would be a good match, I'll send
you over the guidelines. They are SUUPER easy!
I am looking for both photographers who are actively booking sessions, as well as digital scrapbookers and crafty types who could come up with diy project ideas using the overlays. :) I'll be wrapping things up in the next couple of days and wouldnt mind bringing a couple more people onto the team! :)

Hope you had a great day!! I have a fun day planned with my cousin tomorrow. :) I'm taking her kids' pictures sometime this week/possibly next and we are going to scout the thrift stores for prop ideas, and also some new locations. Wish me luck!! :)
