Hi everyone!!! Hard to believe it is *almost* Friday... actually it is late enough that I guess for some of you it already is Friday. :) Anyhow, I have been SO incredibly busy trying to finish up these Holiday Card templates... I had Jodie from Fresh Art Photography take each one for a test spin, and I am happy to say that she thought I "rocked" my first set of templates. :) Definitely made me happy to hear because she definitely knows a thing or two about working with templates... in fact, I've asked her to share some of her insight on this topic and I'll be posting that sometime next week. :)
I have to admit, I really struggled and second guessed every design decision I made working on these templates, each design has taken me 10 times longer to finish then I thought it would. Moving elements around countless times until I finally have that "ah-hah!" moment. :) I do hope to have 10 designs finished when I finally release them for sale. I have 6 (5x7 flat cards) finished now... and for the remaining 4 cards I plan to take a totally fresh and unique approach to them, a little less Christmas-ey but I think you will still like them. :) More details to come! Okay, so I promised a peek and I think I've kept you waiting long enough
::Drum roll please::
and the back:
Thanks to DT member Rosie for the use of these GORGEOUS photos. :) Each template is a layered psd file, and you simply "clip" your photo to the clipping template I have set-up... easy peasy. You will also be able to change the color and placement of certain items. :) I'll *try* to get a video tutorial up... it would be my first, so we'll see if I can manage!! ;)
...and ONE more...
Thank you to Jodie and Kim from Fresh Art for the use of the images in the above card template. :) So, what do you think?? Do you guys like them? I SURE hope so! :) They are definitely not super Christmas-ey, but I guess this makes them a little more "versatile." :)
So, I'm curious are you a photographer offering holiday cards? Or have you wanted to cross that bridge at some point? I would love to hear your thoughts!
