Hiya! So, I've been inspired lately... so inspired that I've listed 2 new art prints in my etsy shop! Both drawings were originally used in this year's valentines cards... and I loved them so much I wanted to re-work them into something new. :) I definitely have a soft spot for the little record player... I'll admit that isnt normal. ;) Both are available in 5 different colors, so you can choose to have the print's dominant color coordinate with your decor... something I VERY much appreciate! :)
The first print can be found HERE and is titled "Life Is A Song"
The second print can be found HERE and is titled "No Book Is Long Enough"
My licensing agent is preparing for the Surtex Show, and I want her to have a small collection of new work to display... so all of the ideas I've had floating around in my head for new art will hopefully be making they're way into a completed form. :) I have some new house prints in the works, a few to add to the "wherever we are together home collection" and a couple of completely new ideas. :)
Also, after LOTS of thinking I've decided to add a small watermark to my artwork. I've been advised by fellow friends/customers to do so... and after years of debating the issue in my head I finally went ahead and did it. I love Pinterest and the free exposure it gives, but I've had a few people tell me that it took them quite a bit of time navigating the web in an effort to find the original source of the artwork, and having my logo/name will hopefully make that a little easier for people. I really HATE having to add something like a watermark, and tried several different styles and decided on a simple tab style... hopefully it will not interfere with the artwork too much.
What are your thoughts on watermarking, and what do you think of the new art!? :)
