This new album template set is one of my favorite album templates yet. :) I have a weakness for watercolor and this template has plenty of that! Shannon Sewell and zozobug baby collaborated on this session... and like always it turned out amazing. :)
Inspiration can be so random at times. This week is Spring Break for Trin, and one day her and Journey were spending the day over at my moms. This gave me lots of uninterrupted time to "play" designing something new. I didnt have a specific project in mind but had a few ideas... I've had a new kitchen art series floating around in my head, and thought I could work on that, but I've also had plans for a couple new printables... but when I sat down at the computer I just felt kinda "blah." When I feel that way I've found there is no forcing it... although I did attempt the kitchen series... and well... it didnt work out. I dabbled around the house for awhile and sat back at the computer. I decided to browse Shannon's blog and came across the above session (it wasnt the first time I had seen it) and all of a sudden it just hit me! The inspiration I needed... :) I pulled the photos into photoshop and after experimenting with the design elements and colors it all just fell into place. There was no forcing it, everything just felt right! Of course it took me a couple of days to finish it but the process was so natural. :) I love it when design feels like that.
I also added Accordion templates to my digital shop. I'm still converting the albums to the accordion format, but I have 3 listed and available.The New Color rain is available in accordion format too:

A big thanks to Shannon from Shannon Hollman Photography for giving me the push to design my first accordion template... and for testing them for me! :) It turned out to be a format I really enjoy working with, and I hear they are a really in-expensive add on for clients. :)
