SMITTEN WITH: Bunny plush toy from Knitting Dreams | Image copyright: Knitting Dreams
I have been crushing on these little guys from Knitting dreams for quite some time. They are perfectly palm sized, and just so adorable. :) Who could say no to such a cute rosey cheeked face?

This is going to be a quick post, because I still have some things I need to finish up before we leave... but I wanted to share some photos of what I'm taking for my road trip journal:
I realized after I took this photo that I forgot to include these:
I'm taking a little more then normal, but I'm inspired and thought why not? :) The girls each have their own book. Trin has already done her cover as well:
and I whipped up a really simple "scrapbook" for journey by using a kraft notepad I bought at Craft Warehouse for a 1.00:
I figure she will be doing some serious coloring/drawing in this book and I'm so excited that they can share in the memory making/recording this time around.
The outside of my book:
and here is a peek at the inside of my book...
and I also have a stack of cut paper in various sizes:
I hope to have the paper available in my shop as a printable when I get back! I also am bringing along this Polaroid Grey Label Printer that Jaydon bought me for Christmas:
The quality of the image isnt the greatest but it is one of those "gadgets" that is just fun to use. It is inkless, so that contributes to the slight pixelated look of the image. The paper isnt exactly budget friendly either, but I'm sure they figure if they cant get you in the cost of ink... then the paper has to make up for it.... ;)
At any rate I'm looking forward to really using it. It just collects dust in a drawer at home, because why use it when I have access to other much better printers? I know the kids will have fun taking a pic or two with my cell phone and using it in their scrapbooks. I'm also bringing along two other instant cameras, which is somewhat embarassing to admit. In total that means I'm packing along 2 dslrs (my sony a55 and my old a300 for backup at the wedding) plus our video camera, 2 instants, and this polaroid printer along with a pocket sized smaller digital camera I keep in my purse at all times, and then of course there is the cell phone camera. Pretty ridiculous, I know. With all these cameras, I'm going to have to make a constant effort to not miss out on all the memories being made, by trying to capture EVERY second. Finding that happy balance, keeps everyone happy. :) Lets HOPE that the girls get along and don't get too burn out on the whole road trip thing. :) I do have some posts scheduled while I'm away, and I'll also try to post a time or two while I'm away. :)

Hi! I wanted to let everyone know that my etsy shop will be TEMPORARILY closing down Sunday night, the 6th! I wont be re-opening until June 1st. We are taking a road trip out to Oklahoma. My husband's youngest sister is getting married and I'm supposed to be taking the wedding pictures! A little nervous again... but I am sure I will survive. Another of his sisters got married last year and I took her wedding pictures... but it is definitely not something I feel very experienced doing. It seems no matter how much I try to prep and prepare the morning of I still feel like I am kind of along for the ride, even with my extensive list in hand! :)
Well after plane ticket prices jumped again (it was going to cost us about 2300) we decided we would drive out this year. We've made the drive a couple of other times but never with Journey, so it should be fun and interesting! :) I always do a road trip journal and this year I'm doing it again, but designing my own paper and printing it. :) I plan to have the paper up in the shop in a printable pdf file (similar to my project life cards) by mid June. Trin and Journey are going to have their own scrapbooks, although I think Journeys will be more like a coloring book. :)
If I have time I'll try to share more of what I am taking for the scrapbook/journal. I have a pretty hefty "to do list" and for some reason everytime I cross one thing off, I end up adding 2 more! :) You mommas know how stressful it can be packing for the little people in your life. At least the weather will be nicer and we wont need to pack anything too bulky. We also decided to sell the mustang, (although we havent listed it yet) and bought a 2007 Acura TL. I love driving it. We still have the Avalanche, but it is hard for the kids to climb up inside, and so the Acura has been SUPER convenient. They can now both get in and out on their own, and Journey can even buckle herself. LOVE it.
It has navigation and a back up camera, that was a real entertainer the first day!
Trins big nose is on the screen above!
I still havent taken any "real" pictures yet, these were grabbed with my cell. :)
So- if you would like to possibly make a purchase in my etsy shop before I close, I will be taking orders through Sunday night the 6th. At that point I'll need to vacation my shop and get BUSY packing/shipping. :)
I hope you are having a great weekend! :)
p.s. My digital shop will remain open while I'm away, but customer service will be a little slower in the response department. ;)

It is here!! :) My first pet themed album template. :D I released this album at the same time as a coordinating storyboard template, and because these two products were from separate categories I went ahead and just pushed a storewide 50% off sale... otherwise I would have needed to create two coupon codes, and I HATE doing that. Just complicates things. So one code: PETSROCK will expire 5/11
The Pet Friends Album Collection is my very first album template catering towards pet photographers. I know this is an area that seems overlooked when it comes to templates, and I intend on adding even more options for you in the coming months! There is no reason why our animal friends can't have a stylish trendy album that represents their personality. :) This specific set includes a few spreads (and cover) with individual backgrounds that apply more to a cat, bunny or dog, so you can use whichever works for your client. The rest of the spreads are neutral enough to work with any pet. However, like all of my albums the background can be hidden and substituted with anything you choose. :)
Are you working on an album for a client who has recently lost their pet? The first spread of this album includes text which either reads " love my " or " in memory of " So you can easily make this work in either case.
You even have the option of customizing the text on the above spread for a client (or yourself) OR you can simply choose to hide the text. :)
Love the super cute faces I was able to play with when designing this album. :) What cuties! Thanks Sarah for allowing me to use your work yet again! :)
The Pet Friends Album Collection is available here in my shop. Use code PETSROCK to save 50%.
The next release is a storyboard/collage set created especially for pets!
However they are versatile enough to be used for other cuties too:
Thank you Millie Holloman Photography for the adorable images seen above.
So... that is it for my releases today! :) Are you a pet photographer with suggestions for new products? I would LOVE to hear them... leave me a comment below! :)
