My sister and her husband were pretty sweet and offered to watch our kids last Friday. Jaydon and I walked into town (our town is small and we are fortunate to be a short walk to just about everywhere in town) and ate dinner at 6th Street Coffee.
We both love the "6th street classic."
The picture doesnt do it justice. It has turkey, cranberry, cream cheese, sprouts and lettuce. :)They are always really friendy, so the service is great in my opinion. :) After that we walked around town. Although everything was closed.
One of these is our mail truck, and picks up my outgoing orders. :) I love living in a small town!
The side of the 6th street building had this heart drawn in chalk. Jaydon was sweet enough to pose for me next to it. He doesnt look at all like I made him do it. Well, actually he does. But honestly he knows me so well, that I didnt even have to ask him to do it. :)
I would have LOVED to have spent some time inside the Rustic Rooster:
Instead I had to settle for window shopping... which is no comparison, and a little torterous actually. :) They post new goodies on facebook all the time. :)
Jaydon and I had planned to make the 30 minute drive to Kennewick and spend the evening down there, but there is just something really relaxing about walking downtown in the evening, and not needing to be anywhere by a certain time. I think it is our turn to return the favor! :) Kids are wonderful, but every now and then us mommy's and daddy's really need a date night. :)
p.s. I lugged around my DSLR camera... but took all these with my cell phone. Odd. :)
