A quote! I actually have a new quote up this morning... I am kind of shocked, so I imagine you must be REALLY shocked. :)
Friday Journey started Kindergarten... she was super excited so that helped me... ALOT. The Okanogan County Fair was also going on, and Cascade Mechanical (the company my husband works for) had a booth there. Jaydon was supposed to watch the booth that day, so I just rode up with him and spent part of the morning visiting with him. I was able to play around with the markers and write on the dry erase board... that was fun.
It really helped take my mind off of Journey being at school. I caught a ride back with a friend (she also has a daughter in Kindergarten this year) before school got out and picked up my school girls. :) The first day went great, she was dissapointed she couldnt go back the next morning, but it was Saturday... so she was just out of luck. :)
In other news I happy to report that I now like the Pumpkin Spice Lattes. I've tried every year, and never could enjoy them.... I guess they never seemed sweet enough for me. Well, yesterday we were in town with a good friend of ours (the girls LOVE her, and call her Aunt Laura) and she convinced me to give them another try... so glad she did! :)
I'm thinking I could really use one right about now. :) On the way back we stopped at this viewpoint right outside of Brewster, Laura grabbed this picture of us on my cell phone. :)
This next one kinda melts me. I've noticed these past few days that Journey and Trinity seem to be closer than ever. I think Journey starting school has really had a hand in that. Trinity is such a good big sister, and seems to be taking the responsibilty of looking out for her little sister, very seriously. :)
It was soo gorgeous out yesterday evening!
How was your weekend?
