Hi guys! Last Friday I finished up the new Succulent themed Science Poster. I actually finished it, printed, then assembled and took pictures of it only to realize that I had forgot to add the numbers to each element! Whoops... So, I added the numbers in photoshop, and repeated the process. :)
:) You guys know I've been working on this for awhile, and it feels really nice to have it finished. My main struggle was the colors, trying to keep it true to Succulent coloring but also true to the Science Poster series... finally felt like I got it right!
We had a busy weekend! Went to Spokane and Couer d'alene ID to pick up a 4 wheeler snow plow combo, and also a puppy! I've been searching craigslist, and petfinder for WEEKS. Reading up on all the rescues and shelters in the area. Most of the animals would be gone before I could get there. I guess that is a good thing? Part of the problem is the fact that we live so far from any magor cities/towns, which limited us to picking up a dog on a Saturday or Sunday. I'll go more into that story in a separate post... but I have to sneek a picture of her into this post...
Okay, maybe three. :)
I am looking forward to seeing her ears start to flop. German Shepherd ears go through so many stages on their way up. :) It will also be neat to see just how much her coloring changes. I hear that the black starts to "shrink" revealing more tan in most cases. I think she is adorable as is, and wouldnt mind NO change... but it will be interesting to watch. :) She has been doing VERY good, but has demanded quite a bit of attention during the transition phase for her. I've been spending quite a bit of time with her outside... she has already almost learned to sit and stay... which has helped me take better pictures of her. The first few days she was always right under my feet. :)
She had a long car ride home- 3.5 hours, and so we had some really good bonding time- me and her. :) I've been reading up on clicker training and my clicker is supposed to come in today! She already has pretty good manners for a puppy, but I'm excited to play with her some more. :) Any of you guys tried the Clicker Training method?
