hi everyone!! This DIY is super easy and really simple... basically I designed 4 sets of patterned paper in both a yellow and grey color scheme. All you need to do is print the pages you would like, cut, tape and voila you're all done!
See what I mean? Super simple. I have to share that I first seen something similar done by Ez at Creature Comforts... but I cannot for the life of me locate a link. She had wrapped the individual tea lights with the paper, and I tried my hand at making a few for Christmas. They looked great... but unfortunately my 18 month old smooshed the sides of the paper in when "admiring" them. I decided I needed something with a little more structure, and so I decided to pick up some cheap drinking glasses from a thrift store... and so far they seem pretty kid proof. :) I like to pile a bunch of the battery operated tea lights inside the glass for a brighter glow. Oh- btw using vellum paper would really work well too. Just make sure it is printable, and if you cant locate any a thin copy paper will work just fine.
