no wire hangers please!

Okay, I think this is soo incredibly cute. :) I'm not sure these would be considered space saving... but I have to give a gold star to the person who thought outside the box and decide that the back of a vintage chair might make a neat clothes hanger! :)

Wouldnt it make a cute un-expected surprise to have an entry coat closet stocked with these unique hangers? It would be a pretty neat ice breaker to hang your guest's coat on of these! :)

bedroom update!

Here are the pictures I promised earlier. Of course, it is still a work in progress. :) Once the closet is assembled, their clothes will be hung in there. Which will really open up the space! I am still trying to decide on what to fill the pictures with. Of course, since I am not sure what I am having... I am thinking I may wait until after the baby is born. I guess I do find it hard to believe that I will wait another couple months. Besides... will I have the time then to create something to fill them!? I doubt it. I think I will go ahead and create with the idea of a girly theme... and also create a set of netural themed art.... just in case we "get" a boy. :) 

The ikea baskets in the top left photograph are awesome! I plan to use them to hold pacifiers, diapers and anything else I am going to want handy with a new baby. They should be very useful!

Well, thats the update. Hopefully saturday will mark the official day I can fill the closet. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me!

ikea bound!

Some of you may remember my post a couple weeks ago, about ikea. :) Well, my goal was to save up enough money to buy this loft bed for Trinity, and the Gulliver crib for the baby. Trying to make the best use of the little one bedroom she will soon share with brother/sister. :)

Well, good news! We are headed that direction (to ikea) tomorrow morning to finally pick these items up. I have been researching the website like crazy, making a list and totaling it... BEFOREHAND. I am hoping to not feel so overwhelmed this time around. :) My parents are coming along, and we will also be meeting my brother and sister-in-law there as well. Fun, Fun! I have been counting the days... and am so happy its finally here!  Here is a little inspiration I have been feeding off of. I will be sure and post after pictures, once the room is put together and finished. :)

Also: To help fill my soon to be depleted bank account... I am having a 20% off sale in the store. Good for the weekend only, so dont drag your feet. :)

In other exciting news, cuteable featured "Home is where our story begins" today! yay! submitted my work months ago, so was super excited to see it noticed.

I also did a sketch of what I would like our bedroom to look like, I will have to post that next week! :)  Hope everyone has a great weekend planned!
