My little helper and I put away our Christmas decorations on New Years Day. This year, I was a little more anxious than normal to get them packed up. I was just very ready for a Fresh start! My honey gifted me white curtains for the living room area/dining room... and I am looking forward to putting them up tonight. The green curtains that are currently up, came with the house and are actually really nice curtains! I just have a weak spot for white curtains, and changing them out will make the place feel a little more like home. :) It was very sweet that he gave in and bought them for me... because he is very fond of the green curtains and is not as appreciative of white curtains. So it meant alot that he did that for me. My big present was the new refrigerator we bought last month during a Black Friday sale at Home Depot.
I need to do a tour of the cabin, I know I keep saying that... but it has been almost a year now...and I really need to do it. :)
Today, I finalized/ordered packaging for a new product I am bringing to the shop this month. I shared a peek at them on instagram a couple weeks ago:
I run out of paper fairly frequently in the middle of printing a poster... and this will put those unfinished posters to great use! I will only be listing them in batches as I have enough material to make it worthwhile. Each one will be unique, and I'm suuuper excited about how I've decided to package them. I was so happy to see that the canvas does in fact work within the embroidery hoops. It does take a little more time trying to get them to fit correctly within the hoop, just because the canvas is pretty thick paper... but it does work, and I love seeing them in circular form! :)
Well, I'm headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner... Happy New Year!!
