When I stumbled onto this horse bookend I was immediately curious! A quick browse through Lauren's shop left me feeling very nostalgic. I've posted before about how much I loved Breyers as a kid. My sister never lets me forget how I hid them from her and my little brother. I was very particular about trying to keep them scratch free! :) I just love how Debbie repurposes them into creative, beautiful and yet still very functional pieces. :) Right before we moved, Jaydon came across a box under our house that had my favorite breyers in it. I plan to let the girls have them... when they are just a little older. :)
These glass terrariums from West Elm are super sweet. I think a small fern plan may look cute inside... The only problem is that I have the hardest time keeping indoor plants alive! I do have a couple Ferns around the house and they seem to be lasting the longest. Succulents, however are doomed the moment they come through the front door! :) I cant understand why though... I always thought Succulents were supposed to be nearly impossible to kill! :) Please tell me I'm not the only one with this problem? :)
Ever since re-decorating the motorhome I have been really drawn to a warmer rustic almost cabin like style. This rug from Urban Outfitters would fit in PERFECTLY with the imaginary room I've been decorating in my head! :) Which reminds me- have you seen Target's new collections?
Is that bag not the cutest? SO many cute bags in Marbled!!
I'm also working on a new printable set for an upcoming photo shoot with my cousin and our kids. :)
I drew the boomboxes and attached them to the front of a box. Super fun!! I wont have this set available for a few weeks though. Still have quite a few details to work out, but it has been awhile since we've done a styled shoot with our kids... and it is LONG overdue!
The kids have since gotten a little bigger. :) The lemonade styled shoot above was done back in july of 2010... so it has been awhile. :)
It was quite a bit of work... but lots of fun too. :)
Little Blue Feather is such a fun shop! The dog bow ties make me want to jump into the car and drive down to my local shelter and adopt a puppy just so I can take pictures of him/her wearing these adorable bow ties. I do realize that is not the reason one should adopt a dog... but still. :)
Hi there!! Two posts in one day?! Shocking I know!! :) I was just wanting to test out a new set of templates I'm creating. :) I've wanted to work on a set of templates that you can upload to your very own blog for featured posts, or for highlighting specific products. So, basically the image you see above (the notepad, and text, etc.) will be available in a psd file that you can edit. You can drop in your very oen image in the polaroid and change most of the text.... some of the text will be handwritten, but you can always hide and add your own. :) What do you think? Is this something you might be able to utilize?
The purpose of the templates is to bring some consistent style-ized posts to your blog content. Personalizing your blog and making it a little more memorable for your readers! Because the design is in place you will be able to quickly prepare the image in photoshop (CS or Elements) and then save as a JPEG... and upload to your blog as an image. Add in a link crediting the source of your image and you are good to go! :)
Do you currently run a weekly or bi-weekly themed post on your blog? I would love to know if there are certain themed posts I should cater towards! :)
Anyhow I will have a couple more variations on this notepad theme! Plus many more planned for the future. I already had quite a bit of work done on another set, but wanted to start with a bit more basic of a template. I posted this image on facebook a couple weeks ago and had a pretty positive response towards the idea:
I took that screen shot before I changed my profile pic and changed my background! :)
