You guys, I have been horrible at blogging. I've worked on more big "projects" this year than ever... and clearly my blogging has suffered. Re-branding my entire digital shop, then launching the illustrated storyboards. Shortly after that we had that big fire that pretty much wiped out most of July. Once our power was finally restored I took a little bit of mental break and just fulfilled orders... didn't work on anything big. However the beginning of August I started working on this new big adventure. A 3rd online store where I will be selling tees and throw pillows! Volume Twenty Five Apparel + Etc. I had actually worked up a logo back in March, but decided to change it up shortly after registering my domain. Here is what I decided on:
My first logo design took a week of tweaking to get it to where I "liked" it. This one, took a better part of a morning. It just seemed to fall into place. I really think it helped that I had already begun working on designs at this point, and I had a much better idea of how I wanted my brand to look.

I will not be doing the printing on these, and that will make it possible for me to take on this new venture. I had previously offered a few designs on zazzle, but this will be completely independent of zazzle, and I will be removing quite a bit of my stuff from my zazzle store. I'll go into the why of that in a future post on the new webstore's blog.
I have a photo shoot planned with a very sweet girl, and these three designs (shown above) today. We have had sunny days for weeks. Well, today we woke up to clouds and a 20% chance of rain. Wouldn't it just figure? May have to switch up my plans just a bit. At any rate, I AM so excited about this. It is very rewarding to finally be at this point. I'm a little nervous, since I will be the one taking the photos and I feel so out of practice! But, this is the last obstacle to overcome before launching. I am hoping to go live with the website by the end of this week. :)
I will be doing a few giveaways to help promote the new store. So, I would love to know... which pillow design is your favorite of the designs shown here?
Are there any prints currently listed in my shop that you think I should adapt to a throw pillow? I would love to hear your opinion!
So, that is the my new adventure. A little scary and overwhelming, but there is quite a bit of excitement accompanying those nerves. :) Wish me luck today! ) feel I will really need it. :)
